Hi,

Need to scope our Netbackup Agents and Licensing for a relatively small but mixed environmentenvironment (6 Servers) but mixed environment.
2 Servers running VMWARE ESXI 5 each with 2 Windows Virtual Servers
3 Servers running Native Windows 2003 Servers
1 Oracle Server runing Solaris 10 OS with Oracle DB and Sybase.
Single Tape Drive in Library.

Any suggestion on where I can double check what I have pull together based on current knowledge and netbackup data sheets.

Thanks,

Barry

You need to see which option would be cheaper and scalable based on your need. We went in for the TB Licensing, since adding options proved more expensive.

The Best way would be to contact a sales rep and give them your requirements. Based on your needs you need to evaluate if you need to backup more applications or more data and which one works out cheaper.

This Sheet will give you an insight for what you need. SMB perhaps?

(Backup Exec ain't bad either. And is cheaper)
