Can someone recommend and application to test the NLB feature on Windows 2008.<br />
I am trying to create a webfarm on IIS.<br />

I would like to:<br />
1. Generate a lot of traffic to stress test the hardware and functionality.<br />
2. Figure out a way to make sure that the Web page balancing load is actually being applied. &nbsp;(Not sure how to graph the usage on both servers)<br />

Windows 2008 Network Load balancing testing NLB

Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2, based on the Microsoft Vista codebase, is the last 32-bit server operating system released by Microsoft. It has a number of versions, including including Foundation, Standard, Enterprise, Datacenter, Web, HPC Server, Itanium and Storage; new features included server core installation and Hyper-V.

Windows Server 2008

IIS is Internet Information Services, the web server included with Windows Server operating systems. All current versions are built on a modular architecture; modules can be added or removed individually so that those required for specific functionality are installed. The full installation of IIS includes HTTP, security, content, compression, caching, logging and diagnostics.

Microsoft IIS Web Server

A Web service is a method of communication between two electronic devices over a network. It is a software function provided at a network address over the Web with the service always on as in the concept of utility computing. A web service has an interface described in Web Services Description Language (WSDL). Other systems interact with the Web service in a manner prescribed by its description using SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) messages.
