The file works fine on all the other computers, which are Window 7 64 bit running Office and Project 2010. it's on a shared drive with change access. We have close to 2TBs of files on this share with no share or over-writing issues. On this computer any project file will hang when you right click on any of the months to select timescale.

What is PWA?
Microsoft Project Web App (PWA)  if you have it.

Now, you file is on a network and hangs only on the particular computer - right?
So it seems that this is a problem with the particular computer.
A couple of questions
(1) the software is registered?
(2) do all computers use Project 2010 with the same Service Packs?

It seems that there have been some issues with Timelines and SP1.

We already have the SP1
I also reinstall Project and created a new user profile on this computer. we get the same problem
Thanks for the effert, it just ended up reformating since I had an image.
