Getting Adobe After Effects to see more than 4GB of Ram

Hi,

I recently installed an HP z800 desktop PC with 36GB of ram.
The PC see's the 36GB but the program it was bought for "ADOBE after effects" can only see 4GB of Ram.

Can anyone suggest a fix to this ?

It’s Adobe After Effects CS3 – not sure what year – possibly 2007.

Adobe said the version was too old and they no longer provided support for it! Their other solution was to upgrade to CS5.5 (of course).

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It's a 32 bit only version from what I can see,so any use of memory above 4 gigs is pretty much not supported .

It was discontinued in 07 and 64 bit Windows was in it's infancy.
