Hi t

I'm sorry that we missed this question. This new format at Experts-Exchange only keeps your question in view for a couple of days, then when we go there to check, it says that there are no new questions. I'm going to report this problem and see if it can't get fixed.

In the mean time, I'm not sure that I can track down the cause of the problem because there are just so many things that can cause this, but we'll give it a try.

The first thing to ask is if you have noticed any sort of pattern to this behavior. Does it happen at or soon after start up, does it seem to happen only when you do certain actions or use certain tools, or does it seem to be completely random?

Then next thing to look for are conflicts. What programs are running in the background? There are a few that can conflict with certain Adobe products.

The last thing to ask is if this is installed on a local machine, or are you using this across a network?

If you are still having problems, let us know and I promise that we'll be a good bit quicker with a response.

ASKER

This issue is occurring in our marketing department.  I have learned that the person using this program like to have other Adobe products open at the same time (Photoshop, and flash).  We are running ESET NOD32 anti-vius. And the software is being run locally on his PC.

Thanks,

OK, thanks! Please allow me a day to test.
OK, i found out that this problem was acutally due to a corrupted Quicktime install.
