Microsoft Datawarehouse Hardware Architecture and Software licencing
Dear All,
I am developing project plan for our new Datawarehouse on Microsoft 2008 R2 plat form.
Our organization need minimum requirments in order to run the Datawarehouse.
It is like One dedicated server for ETL jobs and production databases and one dedicated server for Development, Testing, staging.
Can anybody give me some Microsoft licencing requirments in order to run the Datawarehouse as I explained above.

in a production server, i need to have production database and nightly ETL jobs (SSIS)runs as Agent jobs, so could you please let me know what is minimum licency requirments for this.

what I need to get clear here is to what we need in term of lecencing developing enviroments, and production and test(in a one box) and in production what we need in order to run ETL jobs and host the production SQL database.
for development enviroment, we need to develop SSIS packages and test them in the same box. Becouse of budgeting we are going with one single server for development(virtual) and one physical box for production databases and ETL jobs.
