I have exchange 2003 running on windows 2003. i have connected my smartphone to my exchange activesync, but now i'm looking to add SSL to the mix. I don't need any type of form based authentication. I purchased and installed a SSL from Godaddy and now I just need some assistance on setting up exchange to require SSL when I setup mobile devices with activesync ie iphone, windows phone etc...currently SSL is not selected on these devices so all connections are unsecured. I need clear instructions since exchange is new to me. thanks in advance.

My article should give you all the information you need to get SSL working with Activesync:

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Server_Software/Email_Servers/Exchange/A_1798-Exchange-2003-Activesync-Connection-Problems-FAQ.html

Check the IIS Virtual Directory settings and make sure your server is set the same way, then if you make changes, run iisreset and test on the test site mentioned.

If you get stuck anywhere - just shout.
