Setting up Kerio connect

Hi All,
Can somebody help me with setting up Kerio connect?

I would like to set it up on a Windows 2003 or 2008 server and it will manage my Exchange Servers mailboxes if possible.

Thanks a lot.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Setting it up is fairly easy.  Just run the installer and answer what are "standard" questions for a mail server -- server name, IP address, which services (SMTP/POP/IMAP) to run, where to put the message store.  The kerio manual is actually pretty good.

However -- you say "manage my Exchange Servers mailboxes".  I'm not sure what you mean by that.  Kerio Connect is a stand-alone e-mail server; it might *replace* exchange, but it won't manage it.  If you are installing it to replace an exchange server, I believe Kerio offers a free migration tool for that task.
