Is that outlook profile configured in online mode?

If users are configured to use Cached Exchange Mode, Office Outlook 2007 indexes the search locally.

Make sure indexing is full configured for all the mailbox in Index option.

Outlook 2007 -> Tools - Instant Search - check the index status and search options to include the mailbox, pst etc

inform if any issue

Online in the sense, cached mode was unchecked. Ok, i got it that you are using cached mode.

Search Option - If you are searching for mailbox, is that selected\checked under indexing?

If it checked, you can fix this issue, by resetting\rebuilding the indexing from control panel.

Inform if any issue

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

Ok.  if it is a single user issue.

Rebuild the index.

Control Panel -> Indexing option ->Advanced - Rebuild.

Wait for indexing to complete and search for a email and inform the status.
