Does Winclone work with Windows 7

I have an iMac running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) with Windows 7 installed on a bootcamp partition.
In the past, I have used  Winclone 2 to take an image of a Windows XP bootcamp partition with no problems. Whenever I try to use it to take an image of the Windows 7 partition it fails.

Can winclone no longer be used with Windows 7 on Bootcamp or do I need to tweak something.?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Winclone stopped being developed at version 2.2 and languished for a number of years with no development or updates.  It was not designed for Win7 or OSX 10.6 or 10.7.

Some users have managed to get the 10.2 version to work on Win7 backups with varying levels of success.  But with no support from the developers for a free app it is hit-or-miss.

Just recently a gentleman called Timothy Perfitt has relaunched WinClone as a paid application available on the AppStore and the twocanoes website for $19.99 and now at version 3.1 with OSX 10.6 &10.7 compatibility and support for Win 7 .. this might be your best option.

thanks eoin.. <br /><br />some message boards mention it working with Windows 7.. but mine just keeps erroring.
