I have a customer that runs Outlook 2010.

The .wav file attachment is called voicemsg.wav

Every 100 Voicemail to Email messages that they receive and open the .wav file attachment they get the error. Ref Screen Shot

I used this link

According to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817878 its a known issue that occurs if Outlook is closed when attachments are open, amongst other things. Don't know why they haven't tried to fix it by now.

Since they are supposed to be temporary files, you could create a batch file that runs on a schedule and deletes the files in that folder.
