HI I have built a site but used tables as could not get it looking right with css div tags.
There is a large menu in the first coloum which means the main content of the site is very low down the html code.

Is this bad for SEO? and do you have any suggestions to make it better? all meta fields filled in at the top.

hi, It does not mean to google anymore. What is important is to make sure that you must have entered the METATAGS in the Head section of your page.It should be 1st or 2nd line after hte head section get started. This Metatags is important for the Google search (crawller engine) to crawl your page.It contrails the section like Title,Keywords & Description.

Hope this will solve your issue.
