I need help. I cannot remove/repair/reinstall citrix client xenapphosted_11.0.150 in a couple window 7_x64 boxes.
We have been using this client for quite some time without issue with use with a few old presentaion servers. While testing a XenApp Fundamentals 6 server I installed Citrix Receiver 13.1.0.89 on a couple machines (that already had xenapphosted client installed) to help test the new fundamentals box. Installing the receiver seems to have broken the xenapphosted client. I uninstalled the receiver with out issue, but the xenapphosted client will not uninstall.
I have searched online, and found various how to's (mostly from citrx) on how to manually remove the xenappclient. None have worked so far.
Does anyone have any knowledge on how I can manually remove all traces of xenapphosted client, so I can reinstall it again? Or have any advice on what I should do so I can reinstall the xenapphosted client to make it funcional again?
On one machine, I followed citrix's instructions to delete many dir's & files on the pc, removed many reg key, but no luck. I do not see the client listed in the add/remove programs area anymore, but when I try to install the xenapphosted client now I receive a error "The installation ended prematurely because of an error".
This was also the error I would see when I originally tried to uninstall the program from the add/remove programs.
Checking the event log after this error reveals 2 entries.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are my only hope.....
Any thoughts on this would be great!
Thanks!
Bob
IT WORKED!!!
I was able to then reinstall the xenapphosted. One snag was I need to add a reg key to remove a client lock down issue, but I had seen this before & my notes helped me past this.
The Revo worked so I purchased 3 licenses for the software in great thanks to them.
Thanks!
Bob
