Once in a while I am accidentally navigating to this gray screen with a calendar calc and clock and I don't even know how I get there.  How do I wind up there??

Yeah - dashboard that's it.  Still not sure what I am doing that I wind up in there by accident!

If you have a laptop that supports multi-finger gestures, a three finger swipe to the right while bring up the dashboard.

I am using a laptop but with the wireless mouse.  Maybe I'm swiping over the mouse in a way that puts me there as with the touchpad on the iPad itself.
