Today in the morning i tried to change my internet router ip address to (192.168.2.1) and changing the external ip address of TMG to (192.168.2.2). Earlier when i had an ip of 172.16.1.2 on TMG and 172.16.1.1 for gateway, the ping used to work. But now i am not able to ping or open the router page anymore.

Wow - there is a surprise!! I once sewed Dr Spock ears on to my head and then found I couldn't hear anything - I was amazed it hadn't worked.

Change the entries in the tmg gui, networking, networks, internal, properties, addresses tab to meet the new config.
