I am trying to use Visual Basic 2010 to create a COM class. In Visual Studio 2008 COM Class was an item dislayed in the template. I could choose to add a COM Class from the Template screen when ADDing a new item to the project.
However, I do not see this template in Visual Studio Express 2010. Am I missing something? Can it be exposed or downloaded?
The following MSDN page references it.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/x66s8zcd.aspx

Thanks,
pat

I never had 2008, so I haven't seen that template.  The express editions typically may not have all the functionality that the full editions have.  Were you using 2008 Express?

Visual Studio 2010 has the ability to pull templates from an online gallery.  I am not sure if the express edition has that capability.
