I would like to learn more about the NNI networks, experts, please shed some light on it, what information is shared from one network (parent) to another. Is there any set of std that govern it?

Thanks;

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You might reconsider and clarify what information you want, as I think you're not getting many responses because the NNI is typically an interface between 2 networks, not a network per se.

OK.. there are two parts to the question:
1. I know NNI is network network interface, where either MPLS network is leveraged on other, I am looking for some info on NNI and how it works..
2. Secondly, since they are two diferent networks, how is other critical SLA information about one network is exchanged between the two? Is it governed by a any set of standards which can help the end customer ?
