You can't. You have to use the import/export wizard to copy the database.

As stated proeviously you will have to copy the schema/data from the old database.  If you do not have SQL Server 2008 R2 and it is less than 10GB you can install SQL Server Express 2008 R2.

The method I followed some days back is... Generate scripts for the database including schema and data of the SQL Server 2008 R2 database and execute the scripts in SQL Server 2005.

Using the above I migrated without any issues.

Let me know if you have any queries.

Transaction-level recovery for Oracle database

Veeam Explore for Oracle delivers low RTOs and RPOs with agentless transaction log backup and transaction-level recovery of Oracle databases. You can restore the database to a precise point in time, even to a specific transaction.

That is true, provided you have not used any functionality that only exists in SQL Server 2008.

Good?  Pray tell, what would it have taken for an "A" grade?  Did we have to drive over to your house and type it in for you?
