I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well, I think the problem is because you might not have localized the web part. As you know web parts are not automatically localized coz it is using the good old asp.net concepts. Sharepoint on the other hand, without the webparts, cajn easily switch from one language to another. Try localizing your webpart

Hope this helps!

visual web parts is just like an asp.net site coz the concept is the same. please refer here and see if it helps

I have never done it but I am guessing you should be looking at mapping it to a resource file.

Have a look at the walk through here [plain webpart]

NB: just try following the walk through with a webpart and see if it works for you!
