how to translate the content of a webpart from english to arabic in bilingual site

Hi,

I am using team site template with language setting on sharepoint enterprise edition 2010.

How to translate the content of a webpart of bilingual sharepoint site.

I am created Site in arabic as default site and when i change language to english, webparts are not translating to english.

I  found...  "implement the IWebPartVariationUpdate interface".

Well, I think the problem is because you might not have localized the web part. As you know web parts are not automatically localized coz it is using the good old asp.net concepts. Sharepoint on the other hand, without the webparts, cajn easily switch from one language to another. Try localizing your webpart

but you know i am using visual webparts to do datadisplay.

So can you give any sample for that.

visual web parts is just like an asp.net site coz the concept is the same. please refer here and see if it helps

I have never done it but I am guessing you should be looking at mapping it to a resource file.

NB: just try following the walk through with a webpart and see if it works for you!
