Xenapp 5

I have an application which connects to a database and document folder on a seperate server.

When I launch the application from the desktop of the xenapp server I can connect and see all documents from the folder.

The problem is when I try launching the application through the webinterface using the same credentials.

I can connect to the database without issue but i cannot view the documents in the document folder.

What do you mean by "from the desktop of the xenapp server" - do you mean using rdp or through launching a published desktop?

You cannot view the documents - so you can reach to the document folder with no issues?

What OS version xenapp is installed on? What rollup pack is installed? Have you installed the latest critical Microsoft and Citrix security patches?

connect to server desktop from citrix console , then launch the application and see the result , also try to browse to the specific location , check if you got any access denied . that will isolate if this is because of any remote access policy rule/permission issues etc

Hi

Found the solution.

we had a mapped drive from the server to the remote server for the documents folder, but this was not mapping in the citrix session.

I needed to map the drive in the citrix client session and then I was able to view folder.
