The following is an example of the server information


run this on the SQL server

#Step 1 Load the AMO Objects

[reflection.assembly]::loadwithPartialname("Microsoft.AnalysisServices")

#Step 2  access the SSAS instance

$Myserver = New-Object Microsoft.AnalysisServices.server
$MyServer.connect("LocalHost")

#Step 3 - list details about the server
$MyServer
