Can you tell me from your experience what are two version control systems that are commonly used in the software development industry?

Most commonly used Version Control Systems are (open source, free software)
1. GIT
2. Subversion (SVN)
3. Concurrent version system (CVS)


some other proprietary softwares are
1. Starteam
2. Perforce
3. Visual Source Safe from Microsoft.

I like using SVN than others
