Exchange 2007 Equipment Mailboxes

Exchange 2007 Equipment mailbox "no free busy information could be retreived"

We have Outlook 2003 clients.  Have just introduced Equipment mailboxes,
When we go to create a new appointment in outlook and add the resources as an attendee no free busy data is available.

Free busy information is avaialble for user mailboxes but not equipment mailboxes?

Assuming the mailboxes have AD and Exchange Email Accounts.....

Open the Equipment mailox Profile on a PC with outlook

GO into Tools>Calendar Options
Check Free Busy Settings

make sure its on, and make sure there is at least 2 months of Free Busy Published

While your here, go to tools options, Delegates
Add ALL Staff as a delegate with reviewer access to calendar'

Apply, close

Now try again from a users PC

Make sure they are trying to look no more than 2 months ( or the number of months set) in free busy.

Thanks for the quick response,  I eventually found an article on a forum on Microsoft

that indicated issues with Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2003 Resource and equipment mailboxes, basically the until bookings are made against all of the new mailboxes no free busy data will be shown.  As soon as I did a test booking against each of the new equipment mailboxes, free busy information started to populate.

All sorted.
