Hi,
I am now using Zimbra, and I am planning to move to Exchange 2010. I have about 500 users, some of my top management mail box is over 20GB.
I want to have 1 server as the archive server that i can store all email that migrated from Zimbra.

Could you share me your experience on how to do that with painless? What are the best way, best tools, best practice to do this migration?

Thanks

there are no tools to make a direct migration from Zimbra to Exchange 2010 Server, but you can use the following options:

1.      You can use the Microsoft Transporter Suite to migrate mailboxes from Zimbra to Exchange 2007 at first, and then make the final transition to Exchange 2010

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=1329

2.      Configure outlook for all Zimbra users, export data into PST file, and then you can use “Import-Mailbox” cmdlet to import all PST files back to newly created users’ mailboxes on the exchange 2010 server

Notes: Either way, please play the method in a lab environment to familiar with it
