I plug in my ipad to my macbook air and add apps.  I never use wifi sync or icloud.  When I unplug the ipad from the macbook air and enable wifi the apps I have recently downloaded start to load even though some of them are already on the ipad.  Anyway of stopping this?

There is an option in iTunes to automatically add new apps to device.  If you disable this new app will only sync when you manually add then to the device.
