Curious Case of -ve Spid

Hello experts,
Today because of lack of space, one of the database went to offline. I tried bringing the database online:

alter database <dbname> set online

But I saw something unusual. The spid (mine was working with spid = 80) got blocked by a -ve spid,  "-3". sp_who2 doesn't even allow me to see what is running, but when I check my spid with sp_who2 80, it was being blocked by -3. On googling, I got information about -2 but it looks like a standard one. Not a single discussion was there on other -ve spids. It didn't allowed to me to kill -3. Based on the following link, I tried getting the req_transactionUOW, but with no lock it was all 0000000000's... So, couldn't have a hand on req_transactionUOW to kill the spid. I don't want to restart the server as a general fix but want to analyze as much as possible. Can someone help me out?

This doesn't solve the problem but gave a good insight on it. Thanks a lot.
