Outlook not responding

My Outlook is not responding when will when connected to exchange server.

Couple of things to confirm:

do you have the latest windows and office updates/service packs installed?
Try running Outlook in safe mode by going to start > run > outlook /safe

are you running in cached mode? If so, try disabling it.

recreate a new Outlook profile to test if none of the above works.

tools > email accounts > change existing email accounts > change > uncheck 'use cached exchange mode'

you can also close out of outlook, go to control panel > mail to configure this
