Scenario: I have a list A with some items and list B with items linked to list A (for example number/currency values). Lists A and B have one to many relationship.

Problem: How to show combined values from the lists A and B

The only resolution I found that makes sense to me is import to Excel with PowerPivot and join lists there. Any other ideas?

Hi,
You will have to use a dataview webpart with sharepoint designer, if you want to achieve this using OOB functionality.
If you are using MOSS2007, you will find a webpart by this name. And in Sharepoint 2010, insert and Empty List view webpart. Here are the links to few articles which will help you in creating the same.
