Question Smartlist Builder Microsoft Dynamics GP

We started using Smartlist Builder and looks great.

We would like to know if we can use external databases or tables besided GP creates.

Thank you very much.

So if we were to add another table from another database, not being the GP database working on, the best way is using a View where it would join these tables from another database and then use this View in Smartlist Builder.

Am I correct?

Hi, just noticed that the Query created in Smartlist Builder doesn't appear in the regular Smartlist so we can run them.

Si this also within "Tools -> SmartList Builder -> Security" so it can be used by users to display them?

Discard the last entry. I opened up my other GP version 10 and the Queries created do show in Smarlist. There must be something wrong with the version 9 we are working in. Will verify and if help needed regards this issue, will place another question.
