Exchange 2010 SP2 Rollup 2 - CAS Server Question

Hi,
We have 2 x Exchange 2010 SP2 Rollup 1 Servers in two different AD sites that are DAG aware.  We have no CAS array as we are aware that you cannot have a CAS array between the two AD sites.
My question is: Whenever we create a new user account it always connects to the same CAS server regardless of where the database is hosted?
Is there a way to have some users connecting to their local (subnet) CAS server?
Thanks

Just to clarify the remote is in a same forest (same domain but diffrent subnet of course), if i change the url then wouldnt that cause all clients to connect from lets say - remote site A to local Site B?

please elaborate?

Thanks
CAS servers are site specific. So, in your case user is not connecting to local CAS server, it is pointing to remote site. You need to change it to local site. I did this for more than 40 sites. Didn't find any issue, you can do it during weekend and test the result, any issue revert it back. Make sure to wait for AD replication.
is there any chance of a screen dump to show what i need to change please?

Thanks
also we have five remote sites, each have local DC, do i have to change this on each DC to point to which ever CAS server i want them to connect to?
Here is the screenshot

Thanks for all your help.
