Hi -

I would like to apply this userstatv2 patch. Currently I'm running mysql v5.5. How can I apply this patch?

http://www.mysqlperformanceblog.com/2008/09/12/googles-user_statistics-v2-port-and-changes/

I just need the steps to apply this patch.

Thanks,
Sve

Thanks again.

We've just upgraded our instance from 5.1 to 5.5.

If I download the software from percona do I have to follow the same upgrade method as I did before?

Well, I don't know what you did before =).  But generally, it's a drop-in replacement so you should just be able to stop mysql, replace the binaries, then restart.  Of course, you should back up your current database first.

BTW, calling it a day now, past midnight here.  Will be back in around 9 hours.
