Printer IIS Alphabetical

Hi Everybody,

I have a problem with a printer server.

I explain . I must an migration at your printer server in 2003, in 2008 R2.

I have installed the service Internet printing for the users. Every is 'ok', but the printer is not in order (cf screenshot) and i don't understand why...

someone can help me please?

So printer IMP140 is low on toner. What exactly is your problem? Have you looked at the printer itself (or its web interface) to see whether toner is indeed low/

The problem is that my printers are not in order alphabetical.

IMP079 ==> IMP243 ==> IMP081 ==> IMP085 etc and  i search why...

It's web interface that generate the "Toner Low"

From the screenshot I have no way of telling which application generated that list. It's that application that should sort them. If you tell us the application (or service) someone might be able to tell you how to sort them.

The application use this ASP page generated automaticaly by the service "Internet printing ".

I had a look through the code and I suspect that the program just lists the printers on a first come first served basis. That means you need to add code to sort the printers in whatever order you want.

Unfortunately I am not a programming expert. You may want to add javascript to your topics, and someone there may be able to tell you how to modify the code
