XP Mode Drops Connections to network.
Hi,
I have a customer who just got a new Windows 7 Pro PC (Monday). We set it up and joined it to the domain. I also installed XP Mode and joined the VM to the domain so they can use their ancient MAS90 software. I switched the NIC on the VM to use the actual network card on PC.
We have been having issues where the VM loses it's network connection all the time. We have updated all the drivers, turned off power management for the NIC in Win 7, etc. This is causing errors in MAS90 whenever the system loses it's network connection.
Any ideas? Thanks,
Scott

It seems as though the XP-Mode VM is losing it's connection only to the server. The server is Windows 2000 Small Business. The VM can still access the Internet while it's disconnected from the server.
When you setup the VM, select to give it it's own network adapter to work under the host.
