Creating Email Address Policy in Exchange 2010

Hi
I want to create a email address policy for the email address format . I want to create it using this format  First name initial . Last name  (l.ton) but checking in the opcion I do not have that opcion available only first name initial last naem (lton) without the ".". I am filtering it by Object "Company". Do you know if there any way to create it ?

Create it without the . , then you can edit a . After creation....
