Discussion Forum in ColdFusion.

Please have a look at my attached image, so that you can understand how it works
on the backend.

I would like to improve my discussion forum.  I will try to improve, however, is the "Comments" functionality.

The candidates posted their messages last year, but very few
members actually posted comments about the postings. I would like to find
a way to make that part of the tool more prominent, so that members are more
aware that this function is available to them.

Do you have any idea? please review those images...

I would recomend a couple things after reveiwing your images:

1) Show the number of comments added to each particular posting.

2) Make sure that your notifying users of comments posted on thier topics.

3) Modify/create a main topic page that previews both last posting(s) within each topic AND includes a preview of the last comment made about the original post.
