Outlook 2007 & New Mail Envelope

I used to have a new mail envelope appear next to my clock when new mail arrived.  It stopped doing this.  How do I turn it back on?

I am using outlook 2007

Start Outlook.
Click the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences Tab, click E-mail Options.
Click Advanced E-mail Options.
Click to select the Show an envelope icon in the notification area check box.
