Hi Experts,

How do I check the firmware version of a HBA/FC card (Brocade) via xenserver terminal?
I tried to use dmidecode command and found this.

"Brocade FC Adapter, model: Brocade-825 hwpath: 0000:05:00.0 driver: 2.3.2.7"

From the output it says driver, what about the firmware? How do I know it?

What and where can I find and download the latest firmware for this card?

From where did you installed the driver for your FC HBA? I think in that package you'd have software installer.

The Brocade Adapter Software Installer is a one step program that allows you to install all adapter software and drivers, including both Ethernet and Storage drivers. It allows the option to install only Host Connectivity Manager (HCM, a GUI Management Application), only the drivers, or both. Included with the drivers are the Brocade Command line Utility (BCU), HCM Agent, and APIs.

The software must have the current firmware listed
