Anuroopsundd, The_Kirschi, had tried both methods but seems doesn't work. do i need to log off or restart pc for this to work?
logoff ones should be ok.
If you are in the profile,then

Tools- Account Settings - double click the account you want to change - Uncheck the Remember password - next - finish.
you might find making a shortcut using the command switches to be helpful;

had tried the above suggestions but somehow the password prompt will only appear once..  (there's no checkbox to select not to remember password)..  after entering this once, it doesn't prompt again.. quite puzzling

did not really get a solution for the above scenario, whereby wants to have the outlook prompts everytime it opens.. it appears it prompt only once after login to windows.. restart windows then it will prompt again.
