Citrix XenApp 6.5 remote access ports

We would like to trial citrix xenapp 6.5 for external access. at present all access has been either internal or whilst connected to a vpn using sonicwalls etc.
is there A: a way to either forward the required ports on the firewall (i will also need to know the port numbers required) , B: can this all be tunnelled over https instead of multiple ports or C: does this require a client gateway type device

B. Yes, SSL is preferred
C. FREE Citrix Secure Gateway software, Citrix Access Gateway hardware or Citrix NetScaler very advanced hardware
