How to AutoTab to Next Text Box When Specific Length of Data is Entered

I am new to web developing, and I am writing a new ASP .NET page that will require 3 text boxes to be able to auto tab to the next box after a specific amount of characters are entered. For instance, take a phone number. If a user were to enter "123" and then "456" and then "8910", how would one go about having the next text box automatically tabbed to without the need of the user to do it? (I need to know how to complete this on both an ASP .NET page, using JavaScript, and using the code behind. Any help would be greatly appreciated.)

Pra4444,

Thanks for the quick reply. I did look over the example, but is there a way to use JavaScript by itself in order to accomplish this? I have a request to complete this without adding JQuery to a site that I am building.

Thanks.
