IP pools issue

Testing this and can allocate IP's from an IP pool from a host to a guest (win7) but the 2x esxi nested hosts (esxi4) and a win2000 server isnt picking up ip's....

have you got the network that the Nested ESXi use Promiscious Mode? VLAN id ALL 4095?

No it was set to reject on the vswitch.
The network has all 3 options greyed out.
Not also on a vlan...

Those are the recommended settings for using Nested Hypervisors.

Ok, changed both network & switch to accept.
Set Vlan ID to 4095.

Now the 2003 server is getting an IP from our production dhcp server.
The Win7 client is still working fine and getting an ip from the pool....
The nested host is also getting ip from production dhcp - but not too concerned with these at present.

Very good.

Ah, nested Hosts, do not get DHCP from what I remember!

They are gettign ip from prodection not ip pool.

Why is my server not picking up from ip pool?
