Journal mailbox password reset

We have Exchange 2003 servers for journaling.Which in return is connected to Enterprise vault for archieving.

Our journal mailbox password is going to expire tommorow. Can i directly reset the password in active directory. Is there any dependencies please let me know.

Journaling is just a normal mailbox. you configure the archiving on the store.

you can reset the password and will not have any effect.
just when you login to OWA to access Journalling account you have to use new credentials.
