Hi,
I am trying  to create member in my cube -->calculation

CREATE MEMBER CURRENTCUBE.[Measures].[QTY-YTD] AS SUM(YTD([Date].[YQM].CurrentMember), [Measures].[Quantity]), VISIBLE = 1;
The amount does not change when I change the month in the hierarchy

Hello,

The question that first pops up is concerning your Date.YQM hierarchy.  If the levels are not set correctly, it would explain the result of the same amount showing regardless of the month / date specified (as it would be looking at the whole list instead of a group).  

You can verify this by opening the project in BIDS and browsing the Date dimension.  The middle pane should have a hierarchy for YTD.  If it does not, either create one or use a different hierarchy that is built.

I've attached a screen shot of an example.  Attach a screen shot of yours if you're unsure.
