Wordpress high availability web farm

Experts,

I need to setup a Wordpress Web farm.  A high availability solution.  I'm having a really hard time finding all the tweaking that goes with this project. Wordpress seems straight forward when it comes to one server and one MySQL.  I need High Availability.

1. This will be set up on apache webserver, Centos System. Need Apache Load Balance
2. How can I create a Wordpress load balancing, high availability or redundant system.
3. Guide on MySql Load balancing (at least ideas, I can live with 1 DB while I get the Web/Wordpress started.

I would really appreciate if somebody has a "how to", or a case study, white paper or something that will serve as a guide.

I have found VIP Wordpress services online but they cost a fortune, this is something that I would like to implement.

Thank you

You can setup something like linux-ha, which provides high availability for Linux. Check this link for information,
http://www.linux-ha.org/wiki/Main_Page

It is simple to setup and administer and does the job.

Our setup involves (in the cloud) 2 highly available web servers and a single MySQL server. The apache servers are load balanced using the provider's application utility. I agree this is made easier due to the utility we have. From a OS point of view you would need to setup something like ha from here linux-ha.org. You can also find a youtube video from here to get you started..

Good luck

What do you recommend to create an internal / inhouse solution for Apache load balancing?

I don't want to host it outside my company. I want to have the load balancer in my server room.

Thanks
