google images/videos .net application

Hi i'm developing a .net application for the kids..

where kid can type in a text box a the name like a "fire engine"

he should able to get the fire engine images and the fire engine vidoes..

in any of the controls on the form...

any ideas, how it can be done...

I'd start investigating the Google Custom Search API.  Some reference links below:


If using Google is not a hard requirement, probably working with the Bing Search API will be easier from a .NET perspective.
