You can also select the option to remove embedded fonts.<br />
Would normally advise users to use standard Microsoft built in fonts, which everyone usually has.<br />
When the option to remove embedded fonts is selected, this can reduce the file size as well.<br />

You can enforce this as a default, by installing the PDF printer as a second instance in control panel, printers, printer#2 (by going into the advanced properties of the pdf printer, then selecting the prefered and/or desired preferences, eg, font options).
