corrupt component store in windows7

Hello Experts

I keep getting 80073712 & 1B errors for windows updates.

I did the following already.

sfc /scannow (no problems)

system readines tool (won't install)

net stop wuauserv" and delete the files in software
distribution folder, then run "net start wuauserv"

run fixit

0x80073712 - ERROR_SXS_COMPONENT_STORE_CORRUPT

How do i fix a corrupt winsxs ?

Two solutions: 1: from Windows 7, put in your Windows 7 install disk, and upgrade your operating system (over install)
or 2: contact
Microsoft Support
.  There is free support for security update problems
