Disable Chrome and Firefox for all domain users

My IT Manager doesn't want anyone to be able to download or use Firefox or Chrome. What is the best way to do this?

Thanks,

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can block them from execution using GPO.

User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\
Don't run specified Windows applications Enabled add firefox.exe, chrome.exe and Mozilla.exe

For that the user would have to be an administrator. If you limit user rights to ordinary users, then they cannot change it..

But you are not safe from the portable versions on USB sticks :)
