trying to do a snapmirror on netapp - volume (source) says raid sis - what is sis

the snapmirror is failing - saying volume is offline

i put the snap mirror volume in restricted view - as per procedure
when i do initiallize it says volume is offline and does not synch

its not a size issue as sm is larger than source
