Anybody heard of gosprout.com or redstar.com ?

My niece is looking for a summer job in the Boston Area, and she's received an offer from gosprout.com, which is some sort of sales company.

Has anyone heard of them?

I believe that an Internet incubator company called redstar.com  may be involved.

Thanks.

Larry,

In this case You have to ensure those guys are handling the proper federal forms,i1099 or w9 for Your niece to sign. In any case ,if they ask for any cash or personal information without the forms ,it could be a scam, I've found links to redstar cards scams , gosprout.com seems to be ebay store , You can check their profile at http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=gosprout&ftab=AllFeedback
seems OK but it can be always someone impersonating those guys so it's good to be careful.

gosprout.com seems to be a network marketing/multilevel marketing company. Their website indicates that they will be selling fashion items.

My experience with MLM's is that they pay high commissions for sales, but they must sell a very, very unique product that people are willing to buy from their friends.

In summary, it's hard selling.
